Scheduled Maintenance

Monthly and Bi-Monthly

It’s recommended to have the bottom of your boat cleaned and inspected at least every four weeks. Some boats in high growth areas will even benefit from cleanings every two or three weeks in the summer. Longer intervals between cleanings will result in loss of efficiency, excessive wear on bottom paint, and increase the cost of the cleaning. Heavy fouling on running gear can also result in vibrations that could potentially damage the vessel.

Unscheduled Maintenance

One Time Cleaning

If you’re just passing through and don’t keep your boat in the water full-time. Or, if maintaining your boat just happened to get away from you, that’s okay.

We can take care of that too.

Other

Propeller Pulling and Installation

We will remove your damaged propeller(s), take them to our repair facility for repairs and proper underwater coating. Underwater coating could be barnacle barrier paint or prop speed. Once repairs are complete, we will schedule a day and time for reinstalling them. We can also do complete swaps with your onboard spares or reconditioned props of your choice.

Anodes Inspection and Replacement

Anodes (or “zincs”) help to prevent corrosion of your boat’s running gear and are sacrificial in nature. There are three metal variants based on the waters traveled.

Fast burning anodes can indicate electrolysis issues. Slow burning or not properly installed anodes cannot do their job correctly.

Hull and Running Gear Cleaning

We thoroughly inspect and clean the bottom of your boat, from the waterline down to the bottom of your keel to include all components of your running gear. We make sure that your running gear, intakes, thru hulls, transducers and bow thrusters are free of growth. Cleaning your boat underwater improves fuel efficiency, generates higher speeds, and overall better performance.

The growth, particularly in the summer months, can turn even a perfect boat into a floating reef in a matter of weeks.

This is where we come in and safely remove the growth and maintaining the integrity of your hull paint. We provide a before/after video report during the initial inspection and cleaning which is free of charge and then on an as needed basis when the diver sees something that the owners need to see.

A completed dive report is provided within the invoices work performed area.

We recommend a once every four week service all year as the growth will accumulate fast in our nutrient rich waters. We strive to service your boat as close to the 4 week target date as possible.

Prices

Rates are based on an every four week cleaning schedule with paint in better than poor condition.

Your initial cleaning rate will be based on the condition of growth on your hull upon arrival, regardless of your requested schedule.
